Australian Journal of Education
The Australian Journal of Education was established in 1957 under the editorship of Professor Bill Connell. Drawing upon research conducted in Australia and internationally, the AJE aims to inform educational researchers as well as educators, administrators and policymakers about issues of contemporary concern in education. The AJE seeks to publish research studies that contribute to educational knowledge and research methodologies, and that review findings of research studies. Its scope embraces all fields of education and training. In addition to publishing research studies about education it also publishes articles that address education in relation to other fields. Articles submitted are subject to full peer review by a panel of experts including members of the Editorial Board of the AJE.

Conceived by Damtew Teferra, its founding editor-in-chief, the Center for International Higher Education spearheaded its publication for three years, through a grant from the Partnership for Higher Education in Africa. Currently, the Journal has no association with the Center for International Higher Education.

Journal of Curriculum Studies
Journal of Curriculum Studies publishes original refereed contributions on all aspects of curriculum studies (including those derived from historical, philosophical, comparative and policy-related investigations), pedagogic theory, teacher education and development, assessment and evaluation, and the present state of schooling. In keeping with its international character, Journal of Curriculum Studies especially welcomes articles which extend the perspectives of curriculum beyond national boundaries.

Critical Studies in Education
Critical Studies in Education is international in outlook and readership and critical in orientation, without being tied to one particular perspective. The journal seeks manuscripts that provide critique of contemporary arrangements in education contexts, particularly from the standpoint of the marginalized, as well as manuscripts that offer alternatives to these arrangements. The journal publishes original and challenging articles from throughout the world that make a contribution to theory and empirical research and which are aimed at moving debates forward.
